Twenty-two Years
Zill Computer and Engineering, Inc. has been designing, constructing and
supporting software systems for both small and large businesses for
twenty-two years.
Core Competencies
Core competencies include WEB based and client/server software design and
construction using the entire family of Windows operating systems (including
Windows CE), Microsoft and Borland development tools and SQL Server, Sybase,
Oracle, Interbase, Paradox and Access database systems. We are currently
developing parallel competencies with Linux and examining Open Source
alternatives.
Automatic Identification
Nearly every system we construct involves some form of automatic
identification (AutoID) including bar-code scanning and printing, radio
frequency identification (RFID) with wireless communications. We have a
history of working with nearly all of the equipment manufactured by both
Intermec and Symbol Technologies.
Continued Growth
Our continued growth comes from increasing demand for our services from
existing customers. Our history has been, that new customers become long-term
customers.
Flexible and Efficient
Zill Computer and Engineering, Inc. maintains a small and efficient core
staff of full-time employees at our Southfield, Michigan office. We work with
a number of flexible and independent software professionals on an on-going,
as-needed basis.
